The following tools are all generally to be applied in the “vocal gym.” Athletes go to a gym to gain flexibility, strength and coordination by focusing on specific muscle groups while maintaining good form. They do this so their body will respond with more precision and stamina on the court, field or track. A vocalist can do essentially the same thing by focusing on targeted muscle groups in the vocal-gym, so their voice will respond with more precision and stamina on stage, in the studio or just for fun. Proper training and awareness is what allows a runner to run, a dancer to dance, and a singer to sing at their best.  Here you’ll find several resources that you can use to develop your vocal awareness and enhance your training experience whenever vocalizing.
